The Kitty Pants Ranch

Woke up this morning with a smile on my face, Sassy snuggled up next to me and Brody warmin' my tootsies.

After a lovely cup of coffee I tromped out to my new favorite spot on the property...my outdoor shower...for some morning reflection and scrub-down. I used to do video diary every day...then for Lent I gave it up except for on yoga days. There was also a time in my life when I would write a blog article every morning. Both practices have shifted and changed for me over the years. Now I think I have found a new personally satisfying proceedure of doing a video diary entry and then coupling it with a blog article. If I continue with my new Lenten Season Observance Practice of writing a novella during Lent, I think reigniting my daily blog article practice (now including the video portion) will be helpful. Also, I have found that I'm totally in Love with the landscape that surrounds me. Yesterday, once again, I found myself out in the garden basking in the love of the sun's rays and admiring the redwoods.

  I was inspired to do so after receiving a particularly annoying email from a neighbor that has been harassing me for over a year now. In her latest message she seems to be trying to say she is concerned for my safety...um...yeah...if she is concerned for my safety then I'm a friggin' unicorn. I've been trying to coordinate with neighbors since we moved in because of the vandalism and break-ins and other strangeness on our property but no one was interested...until now, evidiently...because now who ever the person is who has been pilfering on our property is threateneing or already doing the same to others. Boo-hoo. Like I've said before, I certainly have empathy but I have no sympathy. Sigh...perhaps neighbors are going to change their tune now when interacting with me, but I won't hold my breath. I will however withhold any I told you so's because that's never productive, now is it?
